ISFNT WELCOME COCKTAIL
The ISFNT 2023 Welcome Concert will take place at the Sala Sinfónica of the Auditorio Alfredo Kraus de Las Palmas de Gran Canaria.
This concert will account with Germán López, one of the most acclaimed Canarian musicians on the international scene. With his "Timple" (the national instrument of the Canary Islands) Germán López will perform some local and international melodies.

FREE TOUR TO VEGUETA
ISFNT 2023 participants can join a guided walking tour to "Vegueta", Las Palmas de Gran Canaria Old Town. Vegueta is a charming quartier that has witnessed the history of the city in the last 600 years. Vegueta is full of quiet squares, churches, palaces... Some of the most remarkable buildings you will find during the visit are: Santa Ana's Cathedral and Square, Christopher Columbus Museum, Calle de Los Balcones, Plaza del Pilar Nuevo, Plaza del Espíritu Santo......

- Meeting Point: Main entrance of Teatro Pérez Galdós (no official transportation will be available from the hotels area to the Teatro Pérez Galdós for this tour)

The ISFNT 2023 Gala Dinner will take place at the Gran Canaria Arena, a sport complex which is home also to a large number of cultural events all over the year.

- Transportation: There will be a transportation service to Gran Canaria Arena at 20:00 hours from Parque de Santa Catalina.
- Schedule: Cocktail starts at 20:20 hours. Dinner starts at 21:00 hours.
- The Gala Dinner is a service included in the ISFNT Registration Fee.

GRAN CANARIA, THE CONTINENT ISLAND: TEJEDA AND SURROUNDINGS
While the coast of Gran Canaria is bustling, the center of the Island is peaceful and quiet. This tour will take you to the Gran Canaria's Biosphere Reserve, where nature is superlative. In the center of the Island, we will make a short walk to one of the best views over the Sacred Rocks (Roque Nublo and Roque Bentayga). Stop for a wine tasting in a high-altitude winery. Later we will head for Tejeda, a charming village located in a privileged place where you will enjoy a tapas lunch and will have time to visit the village.

This is a hiking route for nature lovers and hikers. After going up to the center of the Island (1944 m. above sea level), we will start walking along a path that offers wonderful views over Roque Nublo and Roque Bentaiga. From this point, the views over the west mountains range are spectacular. Weather permitting, we will enjoy the silhouette of Mount Teide (Tenerife), the highest mountain in Spain.

This tour will take you to the northern part of the Island to enjoy its landscape, and villages and to visit one of the most important archaeological sites on the Island: "Cueva Pintada" (Gáldar). We will start the tour in Gáldar Old Town, after a walk trough the shopping street and the center of the village, we will arrive at the Cueva Pintada. This archaeological site is one of the most important in the Canary Islands. After visiting Gáldar we will head for Puerto de Las Nieves (Agaete), a fishing village with breathaking views over the western mountains of Gran Canaria (also called Drangon's Tale). We begin our tour with a visit to the Botanical Garden of Gran Canaria, the largest one in Spain. This area was the site of the last volcanic eruptions on the Island and is rich in endemic vegetation.
